What seems simple at first comes with hidden challenges in ensuring a seamless project, from a smaller to a bigger one. Our goal was to overcome every problem they had and be sure that they don't happen again, in a faster, and more dependable way.
I followed projects on the ground, observed daily progress, and spoke with project owner, inspector, workers and site managers. I traced the real workflows, spotted bottlenecks, and uncovered the hidden challenges that weren’t visible from our brief and data received from the client and PM.
The construction project process faced several challenges, impacting every person involved.
🙍♂️ Presence photo. Every morning before going on site, the project owner would account for every person by taking a photo.
🚚 Product count. Items risked to be misplaced, threatening compliance and product quality.
📦 Stock & unloading. Stocks and unloading are normally kept by one person (site manager), but with more than two teams it is more complicated to manage where the equipment is, for how long, decreasing the project efficiency.

Presented here are a series of screens from the app, intentionally avoiding complete flows to preserve the confidentiality of certain app features.
My focus here is to provide a glimpse into the design without revealing all aspects of the app's functionality.

The prototype and the project received positive feedback from our client.
The solution is now implemented, and we took the chance to explore different paths to take, experiment with ideas and gather feedback for the proposed final solution.
